So, within the past 2 weeks, Chris and I have had an eye opener of how fast babies learn how to do things. So far he has gone from just moving in a circle on his belly to doing everything. He isn't all the way up crawling, but he can snake crawl, go from belly to sitting, roll tummy to back and back to tummy, and he is starting to try to pull himself up to standing. He has also gotten the strong willed attitude of doing everything himself if he can. He hardly ever lets you control his sippy cup, except for a little if he's really thirsty, he has his own terms on drinking from his bottle, he has to hold it and let you know how much he wants. He tries to share his milk too, which is pretty cute. I should've baby proofed months ago, but I thought i had plenty of time. Well, now it's here and i got one room baby proofed with hiding cords, and making sure everything harmful is out of reach, and the house has plugs in all the electrical outlets. We are trying to figure out where to put the laptop since he loves the computer and always goes near it whenever there is a chance. I just cant believe how much energy he has.
He still takes 2 naps a day, but somedays i wish he would just do one so he could nap for 2-3 hours in a big chunk of time so i can get lots of things done. Some days he only naps for 45 minutes in the morning(i've left him in their for a good 1/2 hour or more, he never goes back to sleep) and an hour in the afternoon. But somedays he does suprise me and sleeps a good 2 hours in one nap. Being a new mom is so difficult sometimes, right now i'm trying to figure out portion sizes of milk/solids to help him drink the milk he needs. He loves his solids but he fills up too much on it i'm afraid he's not getting enough dairy in his diet and other vitamins/minerals he needs. Any suggestions are welcome. I know that they are supposed to go to solids more, but it seems weird when at night he only drinks 3 oz before bed. sometimes he drinks more, last night Chris could only do 1 oz, and then he woke up at 6 starving for milk. Simple craziness.
Things are going well, Chris and I are plugging along doing our church callings and work and keeping up with the demands of parenthood. We sure enjoy having Jordon in our family. Even if he's teething 4 teeth right now(that's right 4, one has already cut, and the other 3 are coming soon.) i think he's trying to get all his teeth by his first birthday, anyway to slow it down? Probably not, he's an Alleman boy.
Well, we love reading everyone's blogs, i think i like blogging too much, i guess it's one of my hobbies, and plus it helps keep track of what happens each week. We love everyone's updates, keep it up!

Jordon sure keeps you on your toes! He's just growing up and it's fun to see him turning into a "toddler". Your doing great keeping up with him, Darlene!!
You will feel like a human vacumn cleaner for the next couple of months, but it will pass. I would give Kirsten milk when she woke up in the morning and from her nap and then before bed. The rest of the day was solids and water. About a year we took away her morning nap because she was doing the same thing. I started giving her lunch at 11:30 and then putting her down afterwards, and she would sleep for 2 to 3 hours again.
It is so amazing how fast they grow. just wait till he starts walking. Babyproofing only work for a little while then Kaylee figured it out. The Laptop should be somewhere where you can hide the cords and tall enough for him not to reach. The solids and milk he'll let you know. usually it is 3 meals a day with milk and 2 snacks a day with juice or water and a cup a milk before they go to bed at night. That is kaylee's schedule. so it might work with Jordan. I am so glad you and chris are doing so well and that you like blogging. I started to keep in touch with my sister then I found all sorts of friends with blogs and There I am. Take Care
It all sounds like enough to keep you really busy. Don't worry too much about what they eat, they get what they need even when, like Eric, they don't seem to eat enough to last them till the next meal, let alone get them though a single day. They’ll be okay. Love to read your blogs, keep up the good work.
