9 month checkup

Today Jordon had his 9 month checkup which went really well. He said he's such a good looking kid, of course, and he's developing just fine. He weighed in at 20 lbs 10 oz and is 29 inches long. Chris and I thought he was 30 inches but we were a little off. He is moving up on his growth curve and in the 75th percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight. He didn't have to have any shots this time, just a prick of the finger for a blood sample to check his iron level. And he was such a good boy, no crying at all. His chiropractic visits are going well too, he is almost all done. We go in once a week, to check to see that his head bone hasn't shifted. It is almost perfectly rounded out, just one small spot we're trying to work on. She said that his head shape could be classified as normal, but since his soft spot is still open we can still round it out all the way, and me being the perfectionist, i'm trying to get it that way. I will notice it all my life if it's not rounded completely. But we are all doing well. Jordon is such a good kid, a joy to be around and have fun with and see all his accomplishments. He is drinking out of a cup ok now, on a sippy cup for his meals. He loves table food even if he's already had his meal he wants to sample what i am eating. What a kid! Here are some recent pictures!

This first picture, he was a bit said because i got an ouchy on my finger. I cut it with a knife while cutting pomegranites. He was oh so worried about me. Such a sensitive guy!

I love food, i can grab my own spoon! Check out my concentration too!

So cute! It's great to know that he is healthy and strong, and his head really does look great. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date on everything. Love and miss you, Cassie and Crew

Jordon looks great! Even though we get to see him all the time--it's fun to see the pictures with his different expressions. :)
