4 months old!

Tomorrow is Jordon's 4 month old birthday! How time flies! He's such a good little boy, constantly changing and growing, and suprising us all the time. Recently he's been grabby alot with grabbing my hair, trying to grab Chris's glasses, and being able to grab onto his rattle and other dangly objects in his play gym. He'll be going to the doctor for his 4 month checkup to get his second round of shots. He has a couple weeks before that happens though since we couldn't get him in until the 12th. We'll see how much he officially weighs and what his length is. We try to do it and he is about 25 or so inches long and about 14 lbs or so. In about a month i think he'll be rolling over. He's trying to learn the art of it. We also have been watching puppies for the last 2 weeks for the parents while they're in Utah/Colorado. They're doing good but sure miss mom. I don't have too much time to play with animals these days, i don't even do it that much for patches. But they don't seem to mind which is good. We hope everyone is safe where they are. Take care!

What a Year!

What a year we have had! With the pregnancy going weird starting in February and being on bedrest and in and out of the hospitals until the finale of Jordon being born, to buying a house, and to seeing the growth of Jordon through these months, life has been full of hardships yet many many blessings we are very grateful for. We've sure enjoyed life's many adventures, our growth as an eternal family. This year has brought us closer together through our many ups and downs. Our joy is in our little boy, seeing him grow and grow, becoming more and more of an individual in our family. He was born so small, 5 lbs 4 oz, and almost 18 inches long. We could carry him around like a small rag doll and now he is almost 4 months old, about 14 lbs, 25 inches long and as cute as ever. He is constantly working hard on his muscles and enjoys smiling, cooing, and squealing these days. He enjoys tummy time for a couple of minutes now and can hold himself up pretty good. He is pretty close to rolling, but not yet. He is such a wiggle worm and loves to kick around, he doesn't like to stay in your arms, he wants to move his little body around and listen to his music. Chris and Dad have worked on our bathroom with updating the shower tile and it looks great. Chris has been working hard at his job with all his new responsibilities. I'm enjoying being with Jordon and helping Chris as much as i can with all the in and out household responsibilities. We celebrated my birthday by going out to my favorite restaurant, Olive Garden, with having a virgin strawberry daiquiri(non-alcoholic). Yum! I like to blog, this is quite fun, we should've started earlier! Til the next post, see you later!

Our First Blog

Hi Everyone,

We were peer presured into the world of blogging. Thanks to Mommy. This does seem like a great chance for all of us to know what's going on in eachother's lives. This is the first blog of Chris, Darlene, and Jordon Alleman, and since our family always seems to be looking for a party. We thought we'd add "Jamboree" to the blog title. We hope that ya'll are doing well and please keep in touch, or else . . . (hehehe jk).

Love,

Chris, Darlene, and Jordon
