We will post soon

No, this won't be the post everyone wants, we won't have pictures up yet. We received our new computer and tried to find our files of our pictures that were saved on our external hardrive, but were unable to find them, and neither was the geek squad able to. Somehow when it saved it did an uncomplete save which means our pictures from 2009 to 2011 are gone. The only way to hopefully retrieve them is to send in the old hardrive from the other computer and have them get it off that way, hopefully. If they are able to do it, it will cost a chunk, but we'd have our pictures and a workable laptop(new hardrive). It's very frustrating, so from now on, we are going to save our pictures in every way possible, because right now it is heartwrenching to know that 2 years of our kids lives in pictures are gone and we don't know if they'll be able to retrieve it. So until then i think i'll just start posting from what's going on and play catch up later.

We are Still Alive

Feels like forever since we've blogged, because well, it has! Sorry if you have been hoping for something, like cute pictures of our boys. There are two truths why we haven't done it, 1st, i've been lazy and after long days with the boys, blogging is the last thing on my to do list. 2nd, our computer crashed (the labtop) about 9 months ago, and we haven't fixed it yet. The majority of our pictures was on it and we backed it up but we can't access it yet. We have a lot of pictures we'd love to share, and this weekend i am hoping to put some pictures on. We received our tax refund and we have purchased another laptop since our old one isn't fixable. So hopefully we can get our files back, cross your fingers!! We are alive and well, the boys are growing and learning so much. David is 19 months old and Jordon's birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks. We love you guys and hope everything is well with you

A very long post!

We haven't done a post in a very long time, so this will be long just to warn you! This picture is of his first day at school in April, bright and early! He loved PPCD and took to his teachers right away, of course he still was quite shy. They always said that he loved being there though.

Getting ready for school at home.

so tired but wearing his backpack!

This picture is supposed to be later but I don't feel like moving it. it's one of the first summer pictures of us cooling off in our pool in the backyard.

We had a Camey Carnival before the end of the school year. Jordon had a lot of fun doing activities, such as go fishing, bowling, etc. It was also the first time he went into a bounce house too, first time ever, we are so proud of him.

Getting ready for school on a SATURDAY!

He posed so good for this one, i think he should go into baseball

Another day preparing to leave for school.

Our first Easter Egg Hunt with the boys. Yes, we are using Halloween buckets for their candy. Oops

Jordon pretending to be a bear

We had a very nice Easter this year. Jordon has unfortunately learned the word candy and asks for it since then.

The many cute faces of David, I think he is 8 months old in these pictures.

This summer we went to a splash park in frisco; David loved it, Jordon is more of a cautious watcher, but he still enjoyed being there too.

Jordon loves helping Daddy with yardwork. Makes him feel like a big boy. :)

Playing a piniata game during the ward's Mardi Gras party.

My llittle sailor boy. Too bad that this was the only time he wore the outfit. Pulled it out of his closet too late.

They love playing wiht our water table. Too bad it doesnt see too much of them lately. With the hot weather this summer, it's hard to keep them outside too much.

Jordon has taken to playing with Play-Doh this summer. Hoorah! This is a big accomplishement for him, ECI was trying for so long for him to touch it, now he likes to make snowmen and roll balls and snakes.

Proud Chris using a gas grill for the first time at our house. The parent's got a new one and graciously gave us their old one that still works pretty good. Thanks guys!

4th of July hotness! What a parade but did not like the heat. Jordon was miserable, but we sure enjoyed having Jason, Ellen, and Gavin come up to Texas for the week.

Jordon sure loves his Grandpa. He has been quite clingy to Grandpa this summer.

Playing in the fire truck at the 4th of July Pancake Breakfast at the Church.

Jordon could not get enough of it. it took quite a bit of bribery to get him down.

Jordon and Gavin sure love their Grandma, Jordon is missing an extra boy cousin around to play with.

The boys were able to play at my house for a while. It was great having them play together. Jordon was pretty good about sharing with everyone. It took the rest of the week to clean up the tornado of a mess that came through the house but it was worth it i guess.

Our messy little eater enjoying yougurt

I love Grandma, not sure about all the love! hehee!

We decided this summer to go to Chick Filet for the eat free chicken night if you dress up as one. Jordon has never liked dressing up for Halloween, but this he was all over it. I think it was because of the tail, he's been fascinated with animals with tails lately.

David didn't keep much of it on, but he is still cute!

We spoiled the boys with a chocolate milkshake, David learned how to use a straw for that dinner. He was all over it, I don't think we got much of it, David kindof hogged the whole thing.

Oh Dad, not in public, please! :)

Darlene's Birthday Breakfast.

The sure spoiled me. I was able to go out on a date with Chris to see Harry Potter and enjoyed being with family.

We promise to be better about blogging more on a monthly basis so we don't get this behind. So much has happened in the last several months. Jordon has been progressing with his speech alot more now and even trying out words as we tell them to him. He is becoming quite the little helper, and a good brother to David. They are finally able to play pretty good with eachother and share a bit. It's been a long year with trying to help in understand the being nice to David thing and he's doing relativiely good.

David is such a little charmer and we love how fast of a learner he is. He needs to stay up with Jordon, so he has to learn everything early. He's been walking really good, took his first steps at 9 months old and been going since.

We love our boys, they sure keep us busy bujt couldn't imagine life without them. We'll be posting more pictures soon, David's first birthday and other fun pics. Sorry for the long post, enjoy the pictures.

All About Jordon, Happy Birthday, ECI, and PPCD

Here is the big 3 year old's week in a series of pictures, don't have the time to organize them but it is somewhat in order, starting with sunday at the family party, to ECI party/graduation, park party, and family party today. Enjoy! He loves care bears, we won a lot of them off ebay and he carries them around and watches the movies off netflix with all the bears on the couch.
His first musical card! Jordon was so surprised when he heard "The wonderful thing about Tiggers" song. He wanted to listen to the song over and over again. Now he thinks every card has to have music in it.

ECI party, they let him decorate his cookies. Nothing made him happier than to shake stuff out of a container.

Gramma with her boys at the party.

His diploma they gave him, everything except the hat and gown. We are sure proud of him for all the hard work he did this year.

Happy official birthday morning!

We caught the silly face of trying to avoid a kiss from daddy, and sad but true, this morning he gave Daddy a kiss and i didn't get it on camera, go figure.

Our morning at the park with all of his buddies, and blowing out the candle and listening to his Birthday song.

At home enjoying his cake and icecream before bed.

The new church outfit my mom got for him and opening his chalkboard, he loves chalk!

Book time, getting him excited about school!

His school bag, Elmo of course

Looking way too much like a school kid here, wipe the tears away mommy :(

ok, so the last two are out of order, but they are still cute!

Now that you've seen the pictures, here is the blog!

Today is Jordon's Birthday, the big 3! It's amazing how fast time has flown. Last night we watched his ultrasound we had on DVD and it brought back so many memories. I remembered everything of the dr visits and going into the hospital and seeing him for the first time. He was so tiny and dependent on me for everything and starting out just a little over 5 lbs and now looking at him through a 3 year olds eyes, mostly independent and a 32 pound strong boy! He is very special and we love him. I couldn't imagine our family without him. We love our Jordon.

He has had quite the week, we've celebrated his birthday 4 times! Sunday was the big family get together where he was thoroughly spoiled with a great chicken and rice dinner and cake and icecream. Thanks Gramma! He sure loves all of his presents. It was fun to see all the babies together and to spend time with the family.

Tuesday he had an ECI(early childhood intervention) party with his speech therapists including the one who went on maternity leave. So there were all three of them and Gramma at his party where he enjoyed decorating sugar cookies and opening his present. They presented him with a graduation diploma from ECI. It was a bitter sweet time, we've sure enjoyed his friends every week and appreciate all they have done this last year with helping him with his speech and motor skills. They will be missed.

Today he had a party at the park with his nursery friends and it was such a beautiful morning to be outside and to have such a great turnout. He enjoyed his cupcake and ju-short for juice! He was very cute and said almost a sentence over there. I asked him if he wanted his cake, he said cae, and then "and open presents" he said pre, and "it's all for you" and he said for me. it was very cute, you had to be there. I didn't know he could say 3 words together in like 10 seconds. cae, pre, me

Tonight, we had a yummy dinner we tried out, Perfect pork chop casserole, except we used chicken. very good, we'll have to share the recipe. and we opened presents and had cake and icecream, sad but it was all done after david went to sleep so david wasn't part of the festivities. he only had one nap today with the huge party we had at the park. he was quite the trooper for his brother today.

We'll post more after his checkup and another post on david later. it's been really busy with 2 busy boys, with an active toddler and an 8 month old who is very proficient at crawling, climbing, cruising, and always going to the fireplace, very accident prone, i think you get the picture. we post when we can.

Wish us luck on Monday, Jordon's first day of school. I'll be taking him the first day and then we're going to see how the bus system will work. We'll see how the mommy fares on that day. I'm not ready at all for this, but i know it's best for him and the teachers seem really nice. We are so proud of what he has accomplished this year and we are excited for all the progress he'll do at school. We love our little boy who's turning into a little man!
