Father's Day Weekend!

Happy Father's Day Weekend! We sure appreciate all of our father's and what they have done for us. Chris was able to have a three day weekend with us, Jordon was so excited, i don't think he let him out of sight. He was very insistent on spending all his time with Daddy. Jordon goes to bed sometimes before 7 at night, some days it's even 6 and Daddy doesn't see him that much so the weekends are Daddy weekends!

We spoiled Chris by getting him a Mercer Meyer book(from Jordon), called me and my dad. I got Chris a card and made him his favorite dinner, Chicken Enchiladas. On sunday we went over to Mom and Dad's and enjoyed Chicken Cacciatore and my famous Chocolate Cream Pie for dessert! It was sooo good. We put in a special ingredient this time, we decided to do half and half with regular milk and powdered milk from the cannery and it turned out just as good. At church the fathers got cookies from the Relief Society. Chris sure felt spoiled and loved. The best gift of all though was that Sunday morning when Jordon took his first step to Daddy! Slowly but surely he is trusting himself to let go of things and try to walk, but i still give it a few months before he's up and running! Chris and Dad were able to take care of the Volvo car by getting the much needed front tires changed, fixing the splashguard, and fixing the backend hatchback with getting new support gas shocks. I'm so excited to be able to use it now! Thanks honey! Here are some pictures from the weekend that i couldn't resist not putting in! Notice how attached Jordon is to Daddy!

Showing off his new toy! (thank goodness for cheap garage sale toys and disinfectant wipes)
His hair style after he woke up from his nap today!

Don't know how well he slept?!

I love my Daddy! Wish i was more awake!

Snuggle time!

That is some great hair. Congratulations Jordon for walking! That is so great. By the way, I do keep up on your blog, I am just bad at commenting. Thanks for all the great updates.
I saw someone at the park today and for a second I thought it was you. How sad to realize that you are a million miles away.
