7 month update!

So I thought i'd update everyone on Jordon's growth. We measured him around 27 inches and 17 lbs. He is currenty cutting his 5th tooth. Yes, number 5. He cut his top 2 teeth just a few days ago and now he's cutting his 5th. I stopped using the teething tablets cause i thought he was done cutting for a while, but after the last two nights of not much sleep for any of us, it's time to give him plenty during the day to help him be relieved at night. Poor guy! But you should see his toothy grin!

He's doing really good at his chiropractic visits. She said that his head tilt is all gone and that we just need to work on rounding out the one side where it's still flat. It's not as flat as before, his occipital head bone in the back is rounding out to where it's supposed to be and his temples on his forehead are even with each other. We figure it'll take up until thanksgiving to finish treatment we hope. He is older than some babies that come into the office that receive this treatment so it will take longer but it is workable. Once you go in for treatment of this kind when they're around a year old, there is nothing chiropractors can do because the head isn't moldable anymore. There is no other option but the helmet, but with Jordon i'm planning on doing chiropractic work for the whole treatment. Next time if this happens, we'll go to the chiropractor asap. They really should have a chiropractor in the hospitals!

He is trying to crawl, or wanting to crawl. He isn't rocking on all fours, but he sure kicks around a lot and goes in circles after his toys and whenever he can't reach the toys, he gets frustrated cause he can't reach them. Before you know it, he'll be on the move and i won't be able to catch up with him. He's an energetic boy already.

Besides Jordon, things have been going good. Sunday i taught the fast sunday YW lesson on gratitude which went pretty good. It's pretty hard to get the girls to talk but at least a couple speak up along with the leaders which makes my lesson go smoother. This time of year is always busy for me with my calling, I have to get the calendars for next year done before December and update all the lists i have with who's in what class and new girls coming in. Last year was pretty crazy with getting it done because after i got it all updated, there was miscommunication over which YM/YW class was in charge of which activities during each month, making me have to redo it all. It was a pain, so we are making sure we don't have a repeat like that next year.

Chris is doing well at his job, within a year he's wanting to go back to school to get his masters degree in accounting. Right now, he's becoming more proficient at his responsibilities and tasks he has to do. They are having their Christmas party soon and we are making plans for all of us to be there for that. We are also trying to make plans for the holidays and we're very excited to be able to see Jason and Ellen and their little boy! It seems like yesterday that was Chris and I, time sure flies by. Before you know it, he'll be a year old. Our little boy is growing up too fast!

Hope all is well with everyone else. We love hearing from everyone and enjoy seeing everyone's blogs!

I can’t believe how big Jordon is getting! 4 teeth and another on the way, no wonder you switched to the bottle. I am so glad that the chiropractor is able to help and that things are getting better and doing so well for all of you.
