All About Jordon, Happy Birthday, ECI, and PPCD

Here is the big 3 year old's week in a series of pictures, don't have the time to organize them but it is somewhat in order, starting with sunday at the family party, to ECI party/graduation, park party, and family party today. Enjoy! He loves care bears, we won a lot of them off ebay and he carries them around and watches the movies off netflix with all the bears on the couch.
His first musical card! Jordon was so surprised when he heard "The wonderful thing about Tiggers" song. He wanted to listen to the song over and over again. Now he thinks every card has to have music in it.

ECI party, they let him decorate his cookies. Nothing made him happier than to shake stuff out of a container.

Gramma with her boys at the party.

His diploma they gave him, everything except the hat and gown. We are sure proud of him for all the hard work he did this year.

Happy official birthday morning!

We caught the silly face of trying to avoid a kiss from daddy, and sad but true, this morning he gave Daddy a kiss and i didn't get it on camera, go figure.

Our morning at the park with all of his buddies, and blowing out the candle and listening to his Birthday song.

At home enjoying his cake and icecream before bed.

The new church outfit my mom got for him and opening his chalkboard, he loves chalk!

Book time, getting him excited about school!

His school bag, Elmo of course

Looking way too much like a school kid here, wipe the tears away mommy :(

ok, so the last two are out of order, but they are still cute!

Now that you've seen the pictures, here is the blog!

Today is Jordon's Birthday, the big 3! It's amazing how fast time has flown. Last night we watched his ultrasound we had on DVD and it brought back so many memories. I remembered everything of the dr visits and going into the hospital and seeing him for the first time. He was so tiny and dependent on me for everything and starting out just a little over 5 lbs and now looking at him through a 3 year olds eyes, mostly independent and a 32 pound strong boy! He is very special and we love him. I couldn't imagine our family without him. We love our Jordon.

He has had quite the week, we've celebrated his birthday 4 times! Sunday was the big family get together where he was thoroughly spoiled with a great chicken and rice dinner and cake and icecream. Thanks Gramma! He sure loves all of his presents. It was fun to see all the babies together and to spend time with the family.

Tuesday he had an ECI(early childhood intervention) party with his speech therapists including the one who went on maternity leave. So there were all three of them and Gramma at his party where he enjoyed decorating sugar cookies and opening his present. They presented him with a graduation diploma from ECI. It was a bitter sweet time, we've sure enjoyed his friends every week and appreciate all they have done this last year with helping him with his speech and motor skills. They will be missed.

Today he had a party at the park with his nursery friends and it was such a beautiful morning to be outside and to have such a great turnout. He enjoyed his cupcake and ju-short for juice! He was very cute and said almost a sentence over there. I asked him if he wanted his cake, he said cae, and then "and open presents" he said pre, and "it's all for you" and he said for me. it was very cute, you had to be there. I didn't know he could say 3 words together in like 10 seconds. cae, pre, me

Tonight, we had a yummy dinner we tried out, Perfect pork chop casserole, except we used chicken. very good, we'll have to share the recipe. and we opened presents and had cake and icecream, sad but it was all done after david went to sleep so david wasn't part of the festivities. he only had one nap today with the huge party we had at the park. he was quite the trooper for his brother today.

We'll post more after his checkup and another post on david later. it's been really busy with 2 busy boys, with an active toddler and an 8 month old who is very proficient at crawling, climbing, cruising, and always going to the fireplace, very accident prone, i think you get the picture. we post when we can.

Wish us luck on Monday, Jordon's first day of school. I'll be taking him the first day and then we're going to see how the bus system will work. We'll see how the mommy fares on that day. I'm not ready at all for this, but i know it's best for him and the teachers seem really nice. We are so proud of what he has accomplished this year and we are excited for all the progress he'll do at school. We love our little boy who's turning into a little man!
