New Skill Mastered!

So, I don't know if i should be scared or excited, but right now Jordon has been standing at his high chair for a half hour repeatedly clicking the buckles together. I hope he doesn't figure out how to unbuckle, cause that could be scary at least in the car if he figures that one out. I took pictures but i'll put them on later. I was very excited, and you should've seen his whole face light up. until the pictures, adios!

So maybe the sucking thumb is related to 2nd year molars coming in? let's all hope! oh well if it's thumb sucking, his parents were thumb suckers! oh and tonight he started to say chocolate! woe, another chocolate lover who was sad to not get a brownie before bedtime! maybe he started to say it because we've been having chocolate milk recently! He also knows how to say teeth. of course if you ask him, he won't perform, it just kindof comes out when he feels like it. sorry for rambling! but Jordon is by far the cutest son, in our opinion. but we are biased. we went through his newborn clothing today, and i couldn't believe how tiny he once was. his preemie outfits can't even pass as a whole shirt on him today. how time has flown by. and the shoes wouldn't fit him that were 3/6 month and he was so sad. going through the clothes made me start to get excited about having another little one, not that i wasn't before, the morning sickness just kindof gets to you and you wonder what you got yourself into.

This was actually supposed to go in last but i hate fixing it so i'm lazy. Sorry! So today, when I went to check in on Jordon after he fell asleep for his nap, I realized something. No matter if you give them a paci or not when they are infants and you take it away after a year, they'll still revert back to the thumb. Jordon always sucked his thumb at every ultrasound when i was pregnant and i didn't think he would go back to it. But this is evidence!
The real start of the blog!
We have been enjoying the new year so far, finally my morning sickness, or i should say morning/evening sickness, is kindof subsiding. I give it a few weeks until i am feeling much better. I do have to say though, that pregnancy the second time around sure makes you have a belly alot faster. 11 weeks, and i look more like 4 months pregnant with a Jordon, who never got that big. I'm doing ok though, not too many cravings yet, but definetely seem like i'm eating all the time, pretty much whenever jordon eats, every 2 hours, and something before bedtime to help the sickness.

We actually don't mind the new church time, 1-4. i make Jordon fall asleep in the car by driving around town 15 minutes or so before church and he actually sleeps through sacrament meeting and half of sunday school with Chris. We don't have to pack a lunch for him which is great or deal with his wiggles and tantrums. He doesn't enjoy nursery as much because he's still tired and waking up, but the leaders don't mind that he likes to sit on their laps and read books and snuggle. He's got great leaders that he loves! i just feel bad for the toddlers that don't sleep at church or able to get a nap in that day. i'm grateful he is willing to sleep through everything, let's hope he'll be able to transition well with the new baby.

Jordon sure enjoys time with Daddy, he is his "favorite pal" :) We were able to spend some time at the park this weekend. Jordon is becoming more adventurous, it's a little scary at times. Here are some pictures of it.

Baby Bump Alleman

Thursday I went to my doctor's appointment, this time it was with Dr. Herzog, the same dr that delivered Kacey actually. Thought that was kindof ironic. Everything went well, i like their office and staff, and Dr. Herzog seems to be really nice. I was amazed that i really didn't get too nervous over there, the nurses were very nice and they did a sonagram right away, so I got to see the little baby and hear the heartbeat. If i would've known that, i would've brought Chris along. Oh well, next month we hear the heartbeat without the sonagram so he'll come to that appointment. I forgot how much of a pincushion you are when you are pregnant, and so they took 4 viles of blood on that day, left a little bruise, but it's ok.

I thought i'd post the sonagram picture so here you guys go!

Cotton Bowl 2010

Ryan's father-in-law was really kind to let Jeremy, Ryan, and I have some tickets to the Cotton Bowl. Oklahoma State University and Ole Miss were going against each other and we got excellent seats! It was fun and quite a game. Everything was really close in the score until the last quarter and Ole Miss scored two touchdowns giving a Mississippi win of 7-21. Here are some pictures I got of the game. It was a ball and spending time with Ryan, Jeremy, and Ryan's uncle-in-law was a wonderful time to spend the day.
