Jordon's First Christmas!
Christmas this year at the Alleman house was so interesting with having a kid around. It was so much fun seeing Jordon's expressions and excitement. The majority of it was just over the wrapping paper and bows, just like everyone says it is for the first year's christmas. All month he'd just look at the Christmas tree and the inflated snowman in our living room wondering what it was all about. Of course with the snowman he was always a bit scared at first, but now he does ok. We learned something from the great snowman though, it has a wonderful fan blowing system to help keeep it up but it also is great with drowning out the noises in the house. He has become a light sleeper and the fan noise is great with helping to keep him asleep. Of course we can't keep it up all year round so Chris and I will figure out a way to have a fan in his room.
On Christmas morning, i think Jordon knew it was a special day and carrying out the Alleman tradition of not being able to go back to sleep after 4 am. He went down great, but as soon as 4 hit, he woke up, was crying and babbling and would try to sleep off and on from 4-6:30ish. I gave up and we started the day at 7 and got everyone ready for the big morning. He took a great nap that morning but was very eager to see what was under the tree.
I want that blue bulb~
And the lineup!
Here is Jordon opening his first package and seeing all his new toys~
Here is my very own walker to wagon when i can start doing that sort of thing! It is so exciting, i just want to hug my box!
I just have to taste every new toy! Especially handle bars!
Oh so many toys, and my first phone! my tike pda! I've been dying to have one, i try to take mommy's phone but she doesn't let me push buttons. This one lights up and everything! thanks gramma Gallis!

Video Claim Emails! Emails! Emails! I like echos.
Hey Jeremy, Ryan, Jason, Zach, Kacey, Megan, and Parents,
Now is the time my friends that Darlene and I are doing a little organization in the collected videos of left in our house. There are a plethora of recordings that we'll divide into individual claims and store until pickup day. (Not three years from now) So by Christmas 2011 the videos will be dumped. Unless the appropriate extention form is submitted by Thanksgiving of 2010. (Sorry that's the tax side of me) I'll spend some time reviewing the videos and see if the content is really the actually videos listing on the tape, and then send out a weekly email state what is available and in what condition. If there is a multiple claim, then I could see about duplicating another if possible. (I know this is a sort of questionable actions that closely resemble the dealings of some swashbuckling people, but hey que sera') If you are interested in receiving these emails, and have the availbable space for this junk, i mean "treasures." We are understanding that space is limited and we can keep the items for a little long, but don't forget to submit the proper forms and give a proper bribe. jk. There isn't alot, but the few that are left can mean alot to one of us. Of course since Darlene and I have been storing these videos, we got first dibs. Wishing all of you a safe and happy holiday.
Chris, Darlene, Jordon
P.S. If one of you have figured out a system to record VHS to DVD, then we could save and send a small portion of these "treasures" to our future generations. I'm sure the muppets will live forever in our hearts and the hearts of our children!

Our First Thanksgiving!
What a great week we have had! Long weekends for the holidays gives me excuses to sleep more and be lazy and sometimes stay in jammies until noon. Chris was able to come home early on Wednesday from work to begin the wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. It was great to be with family and be able to spend time with Jordon. The weekend went a little differently than planned when Jordon came down with his first really bad cold, which he is still battling. We thought wednesday was going to be an easy day, having fun and Jordon being able to stay down after we put him down for the night and that we'd be able to make pies and the cranberry dessert for the next day. We eventually got it done around 11 pm. But after a half hour of him being asleep he starting wailing harder than i've heard him do before. Usually i let him cry it out a bit, but he was in hysterics. So i barely pick him up and he lost all that was in his stomach. His first throwup! Poor little guy took an hour to calm himself down. He started to get stuffed up that morning, but i guess everything was draining into his throat too much and he just couldn't take it. So we were both a nervous wreck. All I could do was just wait and comfort him.
He is doing better now, the rest of the week he was such a trooper. He was on a liquid diet and not too hungry. Now he has his appetite back. I still let him try a bit of turkey and gravy and a little mashed potatoes. He loved the turkey, still trying to see about the potatoes though. Mom and Dad and Kacey and Megan came over and we had a great time. Jordon of course was the social bug telling and showing them all he could do. Chris was able to carve the turkey for the first time, we cooked Mom and Dad's turkey just so we could get the experience. Everything turned out well and the food was delicious! We had fun spending time together and appreciating all we have to be grateful for. It seems like the dinner always goes by way too fast even after all the slaving away in the kitchen you do.
We also went to Mom and Dad's house to help them with the project they had with closing off the space in front of their entrance way to the house, so now they officially have 2 floors. Chris helped with doing the beams and with the sheetrocking. It looks really good now and you can feel the difference with the heater. Both floors seem to get the same amount of heat circulation.
On Saturday we also had a family gettogether and were able to roast hot dogs, smores, and starbursts over there firepit. It was a bit cold so we made sure that Jordon stayed inside the whole time with switching back and forth of who was able to go outside to be around the fire.
Today marks Jordon's 8 month birthday, we haven't measured him to see how long he is but he weighs about 19 lbs or so. He's a big boy! He's scooting a bit and loves his belly time now. He was also able to kindof stand up around the couch and i could let go for about a second and he'd stay standing. I want him to crawl and roll as much as he can, but we'll see how it goes. Here are some pictures of us during this weekend. We sure had a lot of fun, can't wait until christmas! Here are some recent pictures from Thanksgiving!
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, we sure love to hear updates from everyone!

6 weeks after start of chiropractic work
This was taken a few days ago. As you can see, it is starting to round out a whole lot more. The occipital bone is pretty much in the center of his back of the head and everything on the top view is looking good. but when you look at his flat side at a different angle there is plenty of work left to do. She said anywhere from one week to after Thanksgiving. We might have to pay more if the treatments go past december since we switched insurance, but it's all worth it to not have to see him in a helmet.
We hope all is well with everyone. We are getting excited to see everyone for Christmas! We're keeping our prayers with Jason and Ellen! You guys will do great!
